 Job Opportunities

Currently, there are several opportunities for Project Managers to join the Standards Development team in areas including Gas, Electrical, Health Informatics, Engineering and Construction. The primary function of this role is to actively manage standardisation projects through to publication, by constructively managing stakeholder input.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage the preparation and revision of standards and related documents (ie: handbooks and technical publications)

  • Determine the scope and size of the project and the requirements for each stage or aspect of the project.

  • Determine the timeline and schedule for projects and ensure that all targets and quality parameters are met.

  • Working in conjunction with stakeholders to coordinate, develop and/or present at seminars, conferences and industry forums.

To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate the following requirements:

  • Tertiary qualified in a related area or relevant applied industry experience

  • IT literate (including Microsoft applications)

  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.

  • Excellent ability to plan and organise complex projects; including managing quality and risk

  • Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of both internal and external stakeholders, delivering high-quality products and services

  • Previous experience in the use or production of technical standards

  • Experience in one of the following industries Gas, Electrical, Health Informatics, Engineering and Construction Experience in the gas industry will be a distinct advantage.
